Sir Christopher Lee is amazing. Here is him singing a cover of Little Drummer Boy, as metal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVzOve8T39w Merry Christmas.

Also Ben, if you appreciate the talents of both Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch I recommend BBC’s Sherlock to you.

    • Palindrome – I love Sherlock!

    • Great recommendation!

Ooh, then I definitely recommend Doctor Who to you. Steven Moffat, who writes Sherlock, took over Doctor Who at the beginning of season five. Even if you’ve already started watching it skip to season five, it’s a better introduction to the show than the first four seasons.

        • Martin Freeman is great. He played the male lead in the British version of The Office, but he’s since gone on to become sort of the representative of “quirky British everyman” to the rest of the world by playing Arthur Dent, John Watson, and now Bilbo Baggins. I have not disliked anything I’ve seen him in yet.

  2. One comment about the moth in the Fellowship:

While maybe not intended in the movie, Gandalf asked Radagast to send message of any news to him at Orthanc. I’d have to read back, but I think it may have been a moth or birdin the book. Anyhow, when that creature went to deliver news it found the imprisoned Gandalf, who used it to send a message to the eagles.

My recollection might be a little off, but I think that was what was intended by the moth.
