Avatar was definitely a theater experience.
Pretty much unwatchable on the small screen.
Yes, I haven’t even tried. I didn’t care for the paper thin plot or characters, but I was duly impressed by the immersive visual and audio experience at the theater. I wonder how it played for any moviegoers who saw it in 2D?
I was impressed with the 3D in theatres, but didn’t care for the plot. Never had a desire to rewatch.
