Watch the TV series, read the book, listen to the radio show, listen to the audio book (read by Adams himself), read the comic, listen to the other audio book (read by Stephen Fry), then watch the movie…and be disappointed. In that order.
Enjoyed your conversation, guys. I’m sure poor Kobe is never going to miss another episode, or Matt will never let him hear the end of it. But when was Tim Allen in Hitchhiker’s Guide? Are you sure you aren’t thinking about “Galaxy Quest”? Being a huge Trekkie (that’s right, I’m not afraid to say it!), I think “Galaxy Quest” is a fantastic film. The folks who made that clearly have a lot of love for Trek, and “Galaxy Quest” is not only a great affectionate ribbing of it but also a really solid sci-fi comedy in its own right. The SFC should cover it sometime!
Oh, and glad to hear we’ve taken an uncompromising anti-cannibalism stand. Way to be prophetic. 😉
