On May 8, 2012, the Disney Parks Blog announced an opportunity for Star Wars fans to recreate themselves in a classic moment from Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. For $99.95 plus shipping guests of Disney’s Hollywood Studios can have themselves scanned and recreated as an eight inch figurine, carbon frozen just like Han Solo. This experience is available for this summer’s Star Wars Weekends.
Would you drop $100 to have yourself reproduced as a frozen action figure? Would you hang it on the wall? Disney fans on twitter have been discussing their excitement for this experience and are reporting long waits on the reservation line.
