As awesome as River Tam is, this is no contest. The Doctor will either reason her out of a fight or find some heretofore unknown setting on the sonic screwdriver that will save his Gallifreyan derrier. Besides, we’ve already seen him best a strong woman named “River” before . Allons-y and Geronimo!
