  1. Hey guys, I just want to say how much I appreciate how upbeat episodes 110 and 109 have been :). I got to the point of having to stop in 107 in the middle because it was just getting to negative for me (yea i’m a sensitive guy ;)). But you guys have definitely returned to form and thank you for the great episodes.

PS – Congrats again Matt and really looking forward to the proposal story!

  2. Sorry for the negativeness, Francisco. I blame Ben De Bono.

  3. This is an interesting topic.

My contribution to demonology would be the following.

I feel strongly that our spirit, soul, etc… truly exists in a dimension that does not ascribe qualities that we can access with our physical senses in general, but touches our physical dimension.

I also feel that said dimension is as real as our physical dimension is. It is ever present and also has space within it as we do our physical world.

I infer that there are many beings that we do not have explicit information about as their responsibilities/duties are really none of our concern.

I also postulate that there are rules and requirements ALL sentient beings have, set forth by God. I believe that due to the significance of sacrifice. I won’t bore anyone with all of my speculation.

Regarding demons who have rebelled and seek to destroy us, though they are condemned, I believe that they have abilities conferred to them by God that they still wield.

So as people who have fallen, we are vulnerable to these wayward spirits. In some fashion the other dimension has some fashion of interlacing with our own, perhaps how time interacts with mass…

At any rate, we are told that the least of demons are greater than the greatest of us. Intentionally, we are told little because we don’t need to know and probably shouldn’t know at this juncture in our development.

Ultimately Christ’s sacrifice and our acceptance of it removes “authority” demons may possess to unleash their full power on Christ’s people. In the spirit world we exist under Christ’s dominion.

While all this is opinion, I feel that demon’s know their doom and want to exist as long as possible, as being time granted to them by God according to his rules for them. They might face an immediate and greater penalty to challenge God’s authority in that fashion.

But I don’t know.. just idle thought.

At the end of the day, I am glad for Christ’s compassion for us humans and gladly shield behind him.
