With regards to analyzing things in accordance to scientific fact, (while I actually do agree to certain extents) do you think we know 10% of everything there is to know in the universe? How about 5%? How about .5%?
If you were to look over the past 100 years and the authority with which science has stated its case, then to change those views… replace largely with more theories, I think you would see that terms such as “scientific fact” are not what they would be presented to be.
I’m old earth, but I think it’s a disservice to lock ourselves into “knowing” things if we don’t actually know them.
The only thing I know about humanity is that we actually know very little.
