  1. This was great! I especially like the little drama at the end. 🙂

    • Why, thank you! I’d say Matt and I could have a future in radio drama

I’ll second the radio drama notion–very nice voice performance, Ben, and Matt’s was especially impressive considering he hadn’t even seen the script before. Very funny and good episode by both of you.
Speaking of drama, although not in this episode there’s also the ongoing melodrama between you and Koby. Have you thought about a spinoff? You could have possibly the first podcast soap opera.

  2. Guys,
You mentioned Sci-Fi Christian T-Shirts and I got all pumped, only to be let down by the information that such a fine article of clothing apparently doesn’t exist. What will all the cool kids wear?

Tell you what. Why not have one of your talented, underpaid admin staff put up a line of Sci-Fi Christian gear on CafePress.com? Not only would you generate some income for SCF, but you would effectively solve my wardrobe dilemma for the entire summer.

Outstanding drama presentation, by the way! Best line: “I wipe my BUM with better material than this!” *laughing* *falls out of bathtub*

Huzzah! (And bravo on the drama.) Rest assured, I’ve thanked Sarah Arthur on the SFC’s behalf, but if we ever have any SFC swag, yes, you should absolutely send her some!

Oh, and *nice* scoop on de Bono’s “Ponygate,” Matt! “For the time is coming when everything that is covered will be revealed” (Matthew 10.26)

    😉

  4. I am with Allan on the t-shirts! Let’s make it happen. I have decided to cosplay as a female Spike from Buffy and Angel at New York Comic Con this year, and I’m just imagining the attention the SFC can get with my press pass, SFC business cards, and SFC T-SHIRT!

  5. I love the idea of t-shirts too. The only problem is finding a way to make it economical. Sites like cafepress tend to have their t-shirts for $20+. Given that I refuse to pay that price for a shirt, I can’t imagine asking our fans to do so. That said, there must be a way. I’ll make a point of doing some research

  6. I was just thinking about how you all mentioned the cobra logos on the lapels of the guards behind the president and how it seemed so outrageous that the Joes didn’t notice, or atleast it was somewhere in Daniel’s rant. Anyway the cartoon often had elements just like that. Cobra always put their logos on everything and the Joes almost never noticed. That your suspension of disbelief was broken in the film version but would accept just such an unlikely premise in a cartoon is interesting. I wouldn’t defend the movie, Lord knows I’m not going to see it… ever, but it seems a bit flawed.
